Gunter Feuerstein – Peter's friend and former fly-fishing instructor. Gunter has been a driving force to create and promote the European Fly-Fishing Association (EFFA).
The states of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming are known as the "Golden Triangle" of fly fishing in the Pacific Northwest. There, at the edge of the Rocky Mountains, are some whitefish looking for their equal and known far beyond the borders of America are out. Silver Creek, Henry’s Fork and the South Fork of the Snake River as well as the Salmon River are rivers that belong to the best of what this continent has to offer. Two additional small but fine rivers, the Big Lost River and the Big Wood Review, will also be introduced to give the viewer an idea of how attractive fly-fishing in these areas can be.
Gunter and his fly fishing friends also very enthusiastic about fishing in the Central Alps and in particular he recommends the fishing waters of the Tyrolean Alps for an ideal fishing holiday.
