Via Ferratas (walk and climb areas with fixed rope routes) have become a major trend!

We have one of the most exciting and most impressive via ferratas here in Ried! The "Anton Renk" climb right below the lodge, next to the stream - a panorama that is absolutely awesome!

Anton Renk climb
A fast riser, suitable only for the skilled specialists, runs beside the waterfall. Two points feature overhanging climbs and... And for the rest of us, this valley is certainly a wonderful mountain and hiking area, surrounded by pine forests, anemones and field gentians. Climbing was opened to the public in May 2007. An  exceptional via ferrata for sport climbing in the alpine area.
Difficulty: fantastic in every way, mainly "D" climbing (only for advanced climbers) and the phase D / E no way around and no emergency escape.

New is the the so - called Eiger Climb in Tösens wall climbing only.
It is described as short and fast with D / E points, which are a real challenge!

Even high-alpine tours are possible through Hotel Riederhof.

We provide experienced climbing guides! Prices range between € 23 - for introductory climbing up to the private rate of € 25, - per day, with a maximum capacity of 3 persons.

You can also book our new Climbing Package, a minimum of two participants mandatory.
