Albula Pass is a wonderful, unique experience leading into the so-called Engadine. Particularly interesting is the fact that the road runs parallel to the Swiss railway called the "Albulabahn". High bridges, viaducts and tunnels can be seen here. The road was under construction from 1896 to 1903! A very nice pass, the one which can be connected to the Stelvio!

The Aprica Pass connects the lower Valtellina (valley of the Adda) with the Valcamonica (valley between the Tonale Pass and Lake Iseo), an extremely fertile area. Bernina Pass, Mortirolo, Gavia and Passo del Vivione are the best known passes, but from the eastern starting point Edolo is also the smaller Passo di Fletta .
