Hiking in the Kaunergrat Park, in Kaunertal is a wonderful experience for all hikers and nature lovers.
The beautiful nature park Kaunergrat was officially approved and founded in July 2003. Here not only many natural beauty spots are protected but also numerous initiatives have been organized to extend the tourist program and the Mountain Research.
Numerous well-marked hiking trails lead through the Kaunergrat Park in the Kauner Valley - experience nature with all your senses! A Nature House was constructed on the so-called "Piller-Bridge". In addition to the culinary specialties there are always interesting exhibitions to admire in the entire park area - a really worthwhile destination. This park was opened directly at the intersection to the Pitz Valley.
