Phew, where should we start
As you can probably already guess, we are a genuine dog hotel. In everything we do, our aim is to create a WAU holiday for you and your dog: from WAU activities to WAU cuisine.
Dogs come first
Your dog is in the spotlight with us. This is priority number 1, because “dog-friendly” alone isn’t enough. It has to be out of the ordinary and special. For your dog and you too, of course.
Culinary delights for dogs
We have our own dog menu with meals for your dog. We also have a BARF dogÂshop and a “doggymat” with treats. Well … and in the afternoon, a dog snack awaits your four-legged friend.
Wau Community
What many of our guests particularly appreciate is our Riederhof community. A real community that brings dogs and people together with each other – through the dogs, shared interests and activities.
There’s so much to experience with your dog here with us. Starting with the agility playground, the dog pond, guided dog walks and countless summer and winter activities that are just waiting for you.
We have a lot to offer you and your dog under the motto “Whatever floats your boat”. From A for agility training to Z for Zoomies. Discover the wide range of offers for yourself.
Your dog can move freely throughout the hotel. Just bark and romp around. That’s just part of a dog’s life. Oh yes, and of course they’re allowed to howl on your dog’s birthday.

On the one hand, we know the real wishes and needs of dogs. On the other, we offer many training programmes, workshops and training formats for you and your dog. Like this, your holiday becomes a learning experience.

Your Riederhof is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Ried. You can start your mountain adventures right at the edge of the forest in front of the hotel – and the centre is just 400 metres away.
Wau Services
Dog walking service, dog sitting, individual dog care, dog grooming facilities, dog towel service and much more await you at the Riederhof. If you wish, we can also take your dog to the hairdresser.

If there’s one thing our Roxy would say, it’s that holidays with her owner are super cool! We explore the area together, have exciting adventures or just hang out together. The main thing is that I can always be there!

At the Riederhof, you can quickly socialise with like-minded people. You immediately realise that the hotel is run by dog lovers and that dogs take centre stage; dogs are really welcome here. There are also plenty of opportunities to do things with your four-legged family member and spend a great holiday together.

It’s nice when our Jambo can join us on holiday as a member of the family. We enjoy spending time with him and appreciate the fact that he is so welcome at the Riederhof. What else do we like? Shared experiences and dog trips. And the fact that our Jambo is allowed to join us at the pool – that’s pure luxury.

At the Riederhof there are no “disapproving looks” from other guests when your best friend misbehaves. Dogs are welcome and wanted here from A to Z. We also appreciate the interaction with like-minded people and the fact that we can spend 24 hours a day with our favourite – from breakfast together in the restaurant to bedtime.

After several decades I am on holiday alone again. I don’t feel lonely with my dog Socke and feel very welcome at the Riederhof. Activities such as hiking with my faithful companion are simply more fun here and I can socialise with other people a lot quicker.

At the Riederhof, we particularly like the fact that the restaurant is so quiet and cosy with all the dogs. All the staff are very obliging and friendly. We can also take our dog with us everywhere and there are lots of play opportunities for him.
