Hiking in Tyrol
WAU hikes in Tyrol and Ried in Oberinntal
So wanderful for dog holidayers with dogs
Depending on how long you want to roam and hike with your dog, there are a wide variety of hiking options directly from the hotel. From a leisurely, one-hour mountain hike with a refreshment stop to an adrenaline-fuelled summit climb.
Not familiar with our region? Very well. That’s why we’ve put together the most beautiful hikes for you and your dog – and offer them for digital download (via Komoot) to your mobile phone.
Guided walks for two- and four-legged friends
Did we already tell you that? At the dog hotel Riederhof there’s a guided hike four times a week in summer – for you and your dog.
All hikes are individually organised by our hiking guides. Our hiking guides will then take you on the most beautiful hiking trails in the Tyrolean Oberland. Let yourself be enchanted by the unspoilt nature and climb the most beautiful peaks in Tyrol together with other guests and dog friends.
A cable car takes you to the most beautiful peaks
Reinhold Messner” is certainly right with this message. What he may not know, however, is that there are many peaks in Ried and the surrounding area that are just waiting to be climbed by cable car. This makes it easier, especially for four-legged and two-legged friends who are not yet so mountain-savvy or simply want to get a quick tan at the summit.
Some mountain tips that can be reached quickly by car or cable car:
- Kaunertal Glacier Road (easily accessible by car) with the Karlesjochbahn cable car at 3,108 metres
- Mountain railway in Fendels up to the “Sattelklause”
- Sonnenplatau Serfaus, Fiss, Ladis with countless cable cars and summits – e.g. to the Schönjöchl in Fiss or the Furgler in Serfaus
